# Verify a TED Web Release

Use the official TED release catalog before relying on a decentralized or downloaded client.

For the L17 Testnet Web App verification release:

- Network: `testnet`
- Version: `0.4.0`
- IPFS CID: `bafybeierk7m5vagmune2jvyb2skafhtmevkylub5si3cihrbpse4lwgt6e`
- Manifest SHA-256: `e2596494a6775f35b0f3498bac3cd627ae9f8cd4bece212910cd7c9676000638`
- Canonical Programs: 11

A correct IPFS retrieval of `ted-release.json` must hash to the published manifest SHA-256. The manifest itself lists every distributed file and its SHA-256 hash, plus the canonical Program IDs and IDL hashes used by that release.

The Program IDs should also be compared with TED's public Program Verification page. During the Admin launch period, code may be upgraded at those same Program IDs while Upgrade Authority remains active.

The decentralized package intentionally excludes Admin, Pulse, Daily Operations worker UI, mobile pairing, About TED, Developers, public Status/Trust pages and marketing/Coach material.
